So happy to have found these! February 6, 2020 Reviewer: Barbara H. from Palos Verdes Estates, CA United States   I bought four of Language Lizard's English/Romanian children's books as a gift for our regular waitress at the restaurant where we go every Friday night. She and her husband emigrated to the US from Romania four years ago, and they're expecting their first baby. I know the books are for "later," but I always give bilingual books to immigrant families as a "welcome to American but don't forget your roots" gift. My own grandparents came here from Italy and promptly told their children, "Not one word of Italian!" How I wish my mom knew Italian and taught some to me! These are high-quality books and I hope they help sustain the cultural bridge the recipients have built. Was this review helpful to you?

Augustus and His Smile (bilingual) September 8, 2019 Reviewer: Barbara W from North Canton, OH United States   I purchased these for a little boy that I sponsor in Haiti.  I will be visiting him in February and he will be reading them to me and I will know what he is reading.  The quality of the books were excellent and the graphics were great.
