This sweet story was a fantastic one to share during our cycles of nature unit. We created a pea plant experiment, and the kids loved watching their plants grow and then learning about Errol's garden. The Spanish also was a great support for some of our recently arrived newcomers in the class. We'll definitely order more copies to send home with family members.

We love this book! It's engaging for all kids in our Grades K-1 classes, connected to curriculum, relevant, and fun. Great illustrations. Teachers can read aloud to a full classroom in English and send it home with multilingual students to read with families. A good addition to all K-1 classrooms.
